We are working on this dream, and can use all the help we can get.  CLICK HERE to see newspaper article. Chantelle Chantelle's mother died in a car accident while 6 months pregnant with her. Chantelle's grandparents lovingly raised this wonderful child, but never knowing that they could have given her a once-in-a-lifetime dream-come-true. Chantelle passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4th, 2001, at the age of 13. Her grandparents have called Dream-A-Wish for help now with the funeral expenses, as they do not have enough funds.
Tiffany 13-year old Tiffany is our 45th Dream Child. Her dream is to go on Mickey's Big Red Boat. We are sending Tiffany, along with her mother, father, and sister, 1st class on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas on May 30th, 2002. Ann Ann's dream was to have a very special therapeutic tricycle. This trike will help her to build stamina and leg muscles so she will be able to walk like other children.
Tom Tom's dream was to have his own computer. We had to supply a very special key board for his use. Branden Branden is a very special child and we wish to give him a dream second to none. Branden has never tasted food as you and I; he receives all his food in liquid form through a stomach tube. We will send him and his whole family to "Give Kids the World" for a trip of a life time - 6 days & 6 nights at Disney World, Sea World, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, & Universal Studio. We are working on this dream now and will give the results as soon as we complete it.
Lyndie Lyndie is our 48th Dream Child. She had Rett Syndrome and is confined to a wheelchair with NO use of her limbs. This is one of the most beautiful young ladies I have ever met, and we are working on sending her and her family on a vacation to Disney World, and much more. Results will follow. She is 10 years old and her doctors only give her till her 11th birthday. Jill

Robert

Jill, who is 10 years old, and Robert, 4, are brother and sister, and both have Down's Syndrome. They come from a family of eight run by a single parent. Their mother is struggling to raise her children with dignity and pride. We wish to complete their dream so it will benefit the whole family. We would like to get Robert a one-year supply of diapers which are greatly needed, and also a very special Rainbow Play System that the entire family can enjoy for many years to come. The entire dream for both will cost $2,300.00.

Please help. In addition to cash donations, your donated personal recreational property can help make this family's dream a reality.

Alex 8-year-old Alex suffers from Leighs Disease & has long since outgrown a baby stroller, which up till now has been his only means of portable transportation. So his family turned to Dream-A-Wish's handicap equipment loan program for help, but none of the wheelchairs donated to the organization fit Alex. We didn't give up there, however; we raised the funds needed & provided him with the proper portable chair he needed. Kimberly This is Kimberly. She is 17 years-old, and she is our 10th dream child for 2002. She has Viral Encephalitis, which attacks the brain, and as a result she is slightly mentally retarded. Her dream is to have a computer with color printer so she can receive her education at home and not attend school where many kids tease and make fun of her.
John Our 11th dream child for 2002 is John Robert May (nicknamed J.R.), 14 years-old. He has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalis. John had to undergo a very delicate operation on August 12th, 2002 with very slim odds. CLICK HERE to see photo of John with his mother Tina, Dream-Grantor Diane Korman, and the special electric wheelchair plus state-of-the-art computer with DVD player & color printer which we delivered to him. He is confined to bed rest for 12-14 months, so having the computer is like a God-send. John says he never believed in miracles until now. Calvin Calvin Ford is 12 years-old, & suffers from Cerebral Palsy. He is our 13th dream child for 2002, and his dream is to have a computer so he can learn and do school work, and someday be a policeman or firefighter. His first dream when asked was, "Please make me walk without falling down."
Kerrie Kerrie is our 14th dream child for 2002, and her dream is in two parts: On August 17th she and her sister Abby will go on a horseback riding adventure. And on September 20th - Kerrie, her mother, & sister Abby will have a dream of a lifetime when all three go on a Dolphin Encounter. This will truly be an experience they will always remember. Leslie Our 18th dream child for 2002 is Leslie, who is 9 years-old. He has Cerebral Palsy & upper respiratory problems. His dream is for a wheelchair so his mother can handle him without carrying him, since he is getting too heavy. He would also like a computer with printer. We will try to fulfill his dreams before this Christmas. Jessica Jessica is 8 years-old and has Cerebral Palsy. She eats her meals through a tube in her stomach. Her dream is to have a special convertible stroller/car-seat so her mom can more easily take her to the hospital and doctor's office.  Please help.
Andrew Andrew is 14 and has Cerebral Palsy.  He can walk, but for short distances only. His dream is to ride a bike like his school buddies. He cannot balance a regular bike so we decided to get him a three wheeler, and also to keep him busy with a Play Station 2. He loves WWF, so we will get him games about wrestling. We are working hard and will make 20 children's dreams come true in 2003.  Crystal Crystal is 15 and has Cerebral Palsy, among other medical problems. Crystal has a special tricycle to help build her leg strength so she can eventually walk without help. However, she cannot use her trike at home because the ground around her house is all gravel. We wish to put in a 20'x40' slab so she can get her exercise to someday be able to walk by her self.
Alexandra Alexandra is 5 and was born with Cerebral Palsy. She receives all her food through a tube in her stomach. She cannot communicate with her mom & dad, but she can walk and is a very lovely young lady. We wish to send her to The Hyperbaric Therapy Pediatric Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for 40 treatments. They will not accept anyone for less than 40 treatments. Through their experience this is what it takes for very good results. The cost is not cheap: $4,000 for 20 treatments. We can use all the help we can get, so please open your hearts. God bless & thank you. Cody Cody W. is our 8th dream child for 2003.  He is 5 and has Cerebral Palsy, among other ailments. His dream is to walk like other children his age. After speaking with his doctor and getting his advice, we wish to install a 15-foot above ground pool where Cody can begin building his leg muscles to eventually be able to walk. His dream will cost under $2,000. All help is needed and greatly appreciated. God bless.
Allan Allan is our 11th dream child for 2003. He is12 years-old and cannot walk or talk. After speaking with his doctor and his steady day nurses, we decided the best enjoyment for him is a very special swing that will hook up to his wheelchair so the nurses can swing him all day. He smiled and was very excited when we explained what we were planning for him. The cost is $796.33. Please help! Steve Steve is 11 years-old and has a great love for airplanes. His dream was to someday go for a ride in one. His dream came true on April 5th, 2003 - he not only got his special ride in the plane, but he handled the controls and even helped the pilot land. The smile on his face told the complete story.
Jamie Jamie had a dream of one day having her very own state-of-the-art computer with printer and all the other goodies. Her dream came true on April 7th, 2003. She could not thank us enough. Her smile reached from ear to ear. Brett Brett is 5 years-old and has a brain tumor. His doctor said he has from 2 to 5 years. Brett's dream is to see and play with his Disney heroes. We wish to send him, his brother, & mother to a "Give Kids the World" vacation which they will remember forever. The cost is $2,000 and we will hold several fundraisers to try to make his dream come true.
Mrs. Butler Mrs. Butler is 15 years-old and was born blind, mentally retarded, and has Cerebral Palsy. She eats all her meals through a tube in her stomach. This young lady was given up by her mother & father at birth. Her grandmother took on all the responsibilities to raise her, and had to push her 3 1/2 miles to go shopping because she could not leave her alone, nor did she have transportation to carry them. Because Mrs. Butler could not communicate with us, I decided the best dream for this child was good transportation. So we got her a very good used handicapped van with all the trimmings. Her dream was completed July 11, 2003. James James is our 19th dream for 2003. He has Spina Bifida, and had his left leg and hip removed. We gave him an electric scooter so he is mobile and no longer confined to a bed or chair. We also gave him a state-of-the-art computer with printer and all the extras. James is extremely grateful for his dream, and stated that he will never forget Dream-A-Wish and the love we have shown.
Juan Carlo Juan Carlo is 10 years-old. He has Cerebral Palsy and can not walk. To help him get around and not depend on Mom & Dad, we decided to get him an electric wheelchair and a special ramp for their van. He will be able to go where he wishes with out as much help. Look at him - his smile tells the whole story. He is just one more young man that will grow up knowing someone loves him. God bless.  Manuel Manuel is 12 years-old, and was adopted by his new mother when he was 8 months. Manuel is blind and mentally retarded. We are still working on Manuel's dream. This is not an easy task because of his physical and mental condition. Feel assured we will make his dream everlasting. If you wish to help make Manuel's dream come true, please send contributions or call our main office.
Mary Mary's dream was to have a state-of-the-art computer with color printer so she could do homework and play games. On October 19th hers became the 22nd dream we've completed for 2003. Dream-A-Wish made her dream come true. Click here for full article. Calzone His dream was to go to the Bud Shoot-Out to see his favorite driver. So we sent his Whole family to Daytona USA, and took photos of him with his favorite driver's car. We also gave him a large room full of other drivers' silhouettes. His dream will last him a long time with all his NASCAR memories.
Christopher Christopher is a special child with many medical problems. Let's just say he now has the medical items he needed, and we are proud to have made his dream come true. Maria Maria is our 82nd dream child and the 6th for 2004. She is 8 years-old and has Cerebral Palsy, among other medical problems. We just built a very special ramp at her home so her mother can get her and her
wheelchair in and out without having to carry each.
Branden Branden and his mother were not able to get to the doctor, hospital, shopping, or anywhere without transportation. That has all changed as we supplied them with a very good Mercury Sable station wagon. This makes seven dreams for 2004. We thank God for looking after us. Shelby

Shelby is eight, and has medical problems involving her movements.  Her doctor said she must do more children activities, so we got her a very large backyard play gym with all the trimmings. She wrote us a letter thanking us and expressing her joy in using it.

Eric Eric is our 110th dream child, and our first for 2005. His parents could not get him and his wheelchair in an out of the house, so we built them a ramp and his dream was completed on 1-16-05. Look for many more to come. Cameron Cameron is 3 years-old and has Down's Syndrome & Cerebral Palsy. He loves to swing and play outside. We will be installing a very large swing set in his yard for him to play and get the exercise he needs to build stronger leg muscles.

We are not directly affiliated with Mickey Mouse® and/or The Walt Disney Company, we do however,
make dreams come true for less fortunate children by taking them to Walt Disney World.

We are in no way affiliated with the "Make a Wish Foundation".  Unlike them, we are 100% payroll free;
our entire staff is strictly comprised of volunteers.  In addition, we do not limit our assistance merely
to terminally ill children; we also make dreams come true for various physically or mentally challenged special needs children.

At this time we are only licensed to provide services in Central Florida.  With more gifts & grants,
we hope to expand the area which we serve in the future.

Notice: If anyone calls you claiming to be from Dream-A-Wish and asks for funds, please get their name and address where to send your check. But of course do not send any money to them; instead, call us at (386) 682-6404 or email dreamawishkids@yahoo.com, and give us the info you collected as well as the name of a restaurant in your home town, and we will send you to dinner for two in appreciation of your efforts to help us stop such fraud. Thank you & God bless.
