Hey Woody,
It's been a long time since the last time I talked to you or even
seen you. I was at work when I did a Google Search and came across this
website. In case your memory has evaded you, This is Anthony (Tony aka
Tbone) Brown. It has been a very long time. I see you are still very
active in the business of making dreams for children with illnesses.
Well so you know a little catch up on me. I'm now 25 years old and
currently serving with the 101st airborne division Air assault. I'm now a
sergeant and have been for about a year now. I have been serving in the
army for almost 5 years. I have completed 2 tour duties overseas one in
Iraq and the last in Afghanistan and as of right now I'm training up for
my third deployment. You know to this day when ever things get hard for
me and my fellow soldiers, I just remember back when I had my cancer and
think, If I can make it though that I can make it through anything. The
thing I try and remember most when my soldiers come to me with their
issues and problems I remember you and think I did make it though my
cancer but it was because of people like you, People that put themselves
last to help and encourage to push on. So I don't remember if I ever
told you thanks but it's always better late then never. Thank you woody
for helping me and my family in our time of need, Thank you for lifting
my spirits when I needed it most.
